Decorative Coating with Concrete Effect

Beton Deco is a decorative coating based on acrylic emulsion, designed to replicate the textured look of concrete. Applied using a trowel infused with natural lime, this product is suitable for interior walls and is also available in an exterior version for outdoor use. Its versatility extends to various surfaces, encompassing rough plaster, concrete, mineral surfaces like cement panels, gypsum board, drywall, fixed plywood, and even surfaces with existing paint, both indoors and outdoors.

FEATURES

Beton Deco is an acrylic emulsion-based decorative plaster enriched with natural lime, designed to create a raw concrete effect when applied with a trowel. While developed for interiors, an exterior version is also available. Its high alkali resistance prevents blistering and cracking.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Remove any dirt, oil, peeling paint, and dust from the surface.
  • Correct any surface imperfections using San Deco Acrylic Putty Interior.
  • Begin by applying San Deco Primer to the surfaces. It’s recommended to use a primer of the same color as the selected product color for optimal results.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix Beton Deco thoroughly until it becomes homogeneous. If needed, you can add clean water to achieve the desired application viscosity.
  • Once the undercoat is completely dry, apply the first coat of Beton Deco evenly to the surface using a trowel.
  • After approximately 5-6 hours at a temperature of 23°C, apply the second coat in the same manner, using a steel trowel. You can then smooth the surface with the trowel.
  • Different patterns and thicknesses can be achieved with Beton Deco by using various trowel techniques for a unique finish.
  • Maintain an environment temperature between +5°C to +35°C for 24 hours during and after the application for optimal results.

DRYING TIME

Allow 5-6 hours for the surface to become touch dry for complete drying, it may take 24-48 hours under normal environmental conditions with a temperature of 23°C.

THEORETICAL CONSUMPTION

Depending on the surface smoothness, its porosity and the application methods, for a single coat application:

  • 1 lt covers 2,25 – 2,85 m² of surface.
  • 1 kg covers 1,35 – 1,65 m² of surface.
  • The paint consumption for 1m² area is 350–440 ml and 600–750 grams (gr).
