Amarsis
Amarsis adds depth and character to interior walls. It is applied in conjunction with the appropriate primer on walls, plaster, concrete, and wood surfaces following proper surface preparation.
FEATURES
Amarsis is a decorative coating with an acrylic emulsion base, offering a refined metallic finish in gold or silver tones. Its grainy texture and tonal effect help conceal uneven wall surfaces while delivering a modern, elegant appearance.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Begin by thoroughly cleaning the application surface to remove any dirt, grease, blistered paint, and dust.
- Correct any surface defects using San Deco Acrylic Putty Interior.
- Apply an undercoat using San Deco Amarsis Primer after surface preparation.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Brush Application:
- Slowly and gently mix the ready-to-use Amarsis with a spatula without thinning it. Avoid using -mechanical devices during mixing.
- Apply a single coat with a special brush.
- After 25 minutes, use a stainless steel trowel to smooth the decorated surface.
- Apply a second coat of Amarsis after 4-5 hours at 23°C using a brush.
- One hour later, use the stainless steel trowel to apply pressure on the surface, crushing the color particles to create light and dark shades.
Trowel Application:
- Apply Amarsis to the surface with a steel trowel as a single coat.
- After 4-5 hours at 23°C, apply a second coat of Amarsis using the same trowel technique.
- One hour later, use a stainless steel trowel to apply pressure on the surface, crushing the color particles to create light and dark shades.
- Ensure that the application environment maintains a temperature between +5°C and +35°C for 24 hours during and after the application.
DRYING TIME
Allow 4-5 hours for touch dry and 24-48 hours for complete dry at 23oC environment conditions.
THEORETICAL CONSUMPTION
For a single coat application, the coverage of the paint varies depending on surface smoothness, porosity, and the chosen application methods:
- 1 liter covers an area ranging from 7.5 to 9 m².
- 1 kilogram provides coverage for an area spanning from 7.5 to 9 m².
- The paint consumption per 1m² area falls within the range of 110-130 milliliters (ml) and 110-130 grams (gr).
