Metallium Effect

• The display of different color tones depends on the properties of the metal powder it contains.
• Its distinctive resin composition serves to deter the growth of bacteria and fungi.
• Application and the intended effect are attained through the use of a steel trowel.
• The product can be meticulously sanded for a flawless finish.
• Its metallic attributes bring about a considerable level of luminosity and a reflective, mirror-like surface.
• Metalium Effect is composed of two components, A and B, in addition to assorted metal powders.

• Prior to application, ensure that all surface contaminants, such as dirt, oil, peeling paint, and dust, are removed.
• Correct any surface imperfections using San Deco Acrylic Putty Interior.
• For surfaces with existing paint or those intended for painting, it is recommended to apply a coat of San Deco Uniprimer as an undercoat.

• Combine the A and B components in an empty container and stir for 3 minutes. Gradually add the metal dust while stirring.
• Utilize a hand mixer for thorough stirring until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
• After completing the stirring process, apply the product within 30 to 60 minutes.
• Use a steel trowel for application to achieve the desired effect.
• Once the product has set and dried at room temperature (typically around 24-48 hours), proceed with sanding.
  The sanding process involves a total of 8 different sandpaper sizes, progressing from coarse to fine, in 3 stages.

• Stage 1: Sandpaper sizes used include 220, 320, and 400.
• Stage 2: Sandpaper sizes used include 500 and 800.
• Stage 3 (final polishing stage): Sandpaper sizes used include 1500, 3000, and 6000.

• Remove any dust remaining on the surface between each sanding stage with a dry cloth. Once the desired level of polishing is achieved, clean the surface with a dry cloth.
• For enhanced brightness and surface reflection, Metallium Effect Wax can be applied after the polishing process is completed.
• As the metal powders used are natural, any minor variations in powder color do not result in noticeable tone differences in the final product.
• Ensure that the application environment maintains a temperature between +5°C to +35°C for 24 hours during and after the application process.

Allow 24 hours for the surface to become touch-dry and 48 hours for complete drying to occur under environmental conditions of 20°C – 25°C.

Depending on the surface’s smoothness, porosity, and the chosen application method, the consumption of coating materials (comprising both A and B components and metal powder) for 1 kg of product can be estimated as follows:

• Coverage: 0.500 – 0.670 m².
• Paint consumption per 1 m² area: 1500 – 2000 grams (gr).
• Consumption of Metallic Effect wax: 50-60 grams per 1 m².
